PR Campaigns

PR is public relations – communicating what you do to your target audience, in the right way at the right time, to get the right results. A PR campaign helps to raise awareness of your brand, product or service, generating interest and connection with your audience.

This target audience could be a new or already engaged audience, or both! The idea is that you get your message positioned in front of a receptive audience and they feel engaged with the brand enough that they will take an action. This could be by joining your mailing list, donating to a good cause or buying a product.

PR campaigns take that story we have created and use them to tell a compelling narrative, which raises awareness of your brand, creates audience connection and then customers. At the end of the day, if your customers don’t know who you are, where they can find you, what you stand for and why they should care about you, they won’t buy from you, (*or donate to your fundraiser.) Campaigns are about making your audience, both those who know you and those who need to discover you, understand why they should care.

We tend not buy from people just because they tell us to, we have to feel like it’s something we want to do, something that will make our lives better or easier, or save us time, make us feel better or help us in some way. We buy from people we like, or brands that reflect our personal values and beliefs. PR campaigns help you build that connection, trust and warmth with your audience. It’s about harnessing the power of your story and using it in the right way. PR work, which involves content creation and copywriting (which you can find out about here) then builds the basis for other engagement like press days for a product launch or a book signing.
